To the Editor. Sir, —Ono excellent way of celebrating tiio city status of Palmerston North would bo by their joining up With the •rest of the Manawatu-Oroua district. It would prove that they had reached city .sta.tus in thought as well as in deed, and the effect throughout the district would be electrical. Is it too much to expect, like the U.S.A. and the League of Nations? —I am, etc., .... C.W.T.
