To the Editor. Sir, —Ono excellent way of celebrating tiio city status of Palmerston North would bo by their joining up With the •rest of the Manawatu-Oroua district. It would prove that they had reached city .sta.tus in thought as well as in deed, and the effect throughout the district would be electrical.
