Decrease in Week’s Unemployment Figures

WELLINGTON, Aug. 1. There were a decrease of 249 on the previous week in the number of unemployed registered in New Zealand for the week ended last Monday,, according to a statement to the Minister of Labour, Hon. S. G. Smith, yesterday. The week’s total was 5360, and the details of registration at labour bureaux and post offices are as follow:
