The programme will be relayed by 3AE Melbourne. 2EL SYDNEY To-night’s presentation, 8.0 to 12.0. Harold Warren Durden (basso), a wellknown Adelaide artist, makes his first Sydney appearance to-night, and there is a light popular programme contributed to by Stella Eanger (popular vocalist), Harrison and White (banjoists) and Frank Eyan (comedian). At 8.30 there will be a description of the boxing contest at the Sydney Stadium. Later in the evening dance music will be supplied by the A.B.C. Dance Band.

PROGRAMME NOTES An' outstanding item on the programme by the IYA Orchestral Octet will be the descriptive piece for solo piano and orchestra, 'The Clock and the Dresden Figures. Two Dresden china figures standing on each side of a clock come to life and dance to the ticking of the clock. The clock goes wrong, the springs break suddenly, and the figures rush back to their former positions. Mi'3. Daisy Basham and Mr. Arthur Briggs will be heard in solos and duets, while Mr. Robert McKnight, concertina player, will give special numbers. Humour will be provided by Mr. G. C. Toller ton, well-known in many parts of New Zealand. The Wellington Harmonic Society’s second concert of. the season will be relayed from the Town hall this evening by 2YA. The programme, which is an excellent one, comprises part songs and full choral numbers, and solos by Miss Hilda Chudley. Two numbers of outstanding merit will be played by Mr. and Mrs. Eric Meier and Miss Elsa Walter. A variety programme will be presented by 3YA (and relayed to 4YA) this evening. Contributing to the entertainment will be Miss Alma May (contralto) .in popular numbers, Mr. David McGill (tenor), the Joyous (in jazz duets), Mr. Robert W. Rote (bass), Mr. Eddie Began (comic songs and patter), Mr. Sydney Comfort (new humour), Mr. S. E. Munday (clarinet) and Messrs. Stan. Birch and Perce Skinner in banjolin and banjo duets. At 2.30 p.m. to-morrow 2YA will broadcast the first of the Music Week programmes, when a recital by the massed bands will be relayed from, the AYintcr Show building,
