Princess Mary, Princess Helena Victoria and Princess Marie Louise again occupied the royal box at Covent Garden for the performance of “Bheingold” (says a London correspondent). This is Princess Mary’s second visit to the opera this season, for she is a devotee of Wagner. On both occasions she wore a dress of her favourite blue. Pew jewels were worn .in comparison with pre-war days, and the fashion for imitation jewellery would have aston-j ished .the grandes dames of 1914?
