Bushy Park Sale of Stud Hereford Cattle
250 GNS. FOR YEARLING BULL. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Last Night. An important cattle sale was held at Bushy Park, Kai Iwi, to-day, when Mr. G. F. Moore disposed of about 100 head of stud Hereford stock. Mr. Moore retains representatives of important families. Mr. G. M. Currie, Kai Iwi, paid 250 guineas for a yearling bull, the highest price for the day. Noted sires, San Carlos (calved 1924) and San Gabriel (calved 1925) realised (, 7 A and 60 guineas respectively. Mr. Moore stated he was quite satisfied with the result of tho sale, considering the ruling prices of produce. Buyers from Invercargill, Hawke’s Bay, Rangitikoi, V/airarapa, To Kuiti, Wairoa and Gisborno were present.
