WING BROKEN IN FORCED DESCENT. United Press Association. —By Electrie ■ Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunday, 7 p.m. MELBOURNE, April 27. A message from Bangkok states that Smith and Shiers wero foreod down in rough country 30 miles from the Siamese capital. The men were unhurt but a wing was broweu and the flight may be abandoned. The piano was unablo to take off fully loaded from Sin.gora, on the Malay cast coast, .owing to the aerodrome's limited space. It therefore had to start with a minimum load, which proved insufficient to reach Bangkok.
