He is feeling the cold and it is also doubtful if the horse will run in the Ascot Gold Cup. Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Company-, New Zealand, bought a Polyphonic—Demlith filly for 100 guineas. Jockey Wiggins Successfully Appeals Against Suspension RIDES AT AVONDALE TO-DAY. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. An appeal by H. N, Wiggins, the jockey, against the six months' suspension imposed by tho judicial committee of tho Auckland Racing Club on Monday, was considered by the Auckland District Committee last night. The committee decided to uphold the appeal, on the grounds that the evidence was not sufiiciently strong to justify the decision of the judicial committee. Wiggius, accordingly, will be riding at Avondale tomorrow, AVONDALE CARD. There will be racing at Avondale today. In the Foley Memorial are several which were in the picture at Ellerslio and with the added weight on these, backers may be looking further afield, for a likely improver. The Taranaki pair, Bright Glow and Pai.tonui, make a big appeal, however, and of the two Paitonui may be the more fancied. Vali has a chance here to recover her following and a lightweight in Lucy Rose will also have friends.

For the All-Aged Stakes, Paganelli will go out favourite if the track is firm. Lady Quex should be his most difficult opponent and Green Linnet will be in demand also if the conditions aro against the top-weight.
