Church Services

The services of the United Evangelical Church -will be conducted in the Kosy hall, when the Pastor, Mr. Wesley E. Kichards will preach in the morning on the subject of ‘ ‘ The Wonderful Walk/’ There is much to be learned from this first Kcsurrcction Walk of the Lord Jesus with His Disciples. In the evening, Mr. Kichards will preach again, when his subject will be, “What Do You Think of Christ J ” Eternal issues aro involved in this question of which perhaps no greater has been asked. To-morrow's services at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Broadway avenue, will be conducted by Kcv. J. C. Draper. The morning topic will bo “Divine Broadcasting,” and that for tho evening, “Secret.” Mr. Draper will conduct a service at Aokautero at 2 p.m., hospital service will commence at J&O p.m. The preacher at Milson will be Mr. G. Young. Visitors and strangers are invited to attend these s<?rviee9. The usual services will be held in the Cuba Street Methodist Church tomorrow, tho minister, the Kcv. J. D. McArthur officiating. At the morning service the studies in tho Lord’s Prayer will be continued, the subject

being, “Thy Kingdom Come.” At 7 p.m., the subject will be, “Christ Crucified, the Power and Wisdom of God:” Ministers and officers cordially invite strangers in town to worship at Cuba. Street. ,“If you have no Church home, make our’s yours.” At Emmanuel Congregational Church, Broadway, to-morrow, Pastor C. G. H. Bycroft will occupy the pulpit at both services. At the morning service, the subject will be Unanswered Prayer. This will bo the third address on this important-subject. The prayer meeting for the work of God will be held in the vestry at 6.30 p.m. The evening service at 7 o’clock will be an evangelistic one, tho subject being tho important question, “What They Have Seen in Thine House?” The choir will render tho anthem, hnd a very warm invitation is extended to visitors and strangers to Palmerston North to worship at the Congregational Church.

In St. Andrew’s Church, the last of the special services for parents will be conducted by the Kev. G. T. Brown M.A. It will take the form of a question box. A number of interesting questions have been handed in and the preacher will do his best to answer as many as possible. In the evening, the young people’s question box will bo dealt with. Again a number of good questions have been received and these will bo dealt with as fully as time will permit.
