FEDERATION FORMED AT PLIMMERTON. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. A gathering oof interest to many has gust come to a close at Plimmorton where between 50 and <3O young women representing the’ Young Women’s Christian Association in all parts of New Zealand, met with the object of bringing about a federation of clubs throughout the Dominion. Delegates assembled on Good Friday and were welcomed by the conference hostess, Mrs. H. D. Bennett, of Wellington, who also introduced Miss Yuki Kimura San, of Tokio, tho guest of honour, Miss Ethel Law, national general secretary and Miss Leila Bridgman, national girls’ work secretary. There were also present and representatives from Now Plymouth, Auckland, Palmerston North, Christchurch, Timaru and Dunedin. The conference concluded in' tho holding of tho first Dominion assembly service of the federation, in which members pledged their loyalty to its friendship.
