From Our Own Correspondent. Mr. and Mrs. Hobbs and family, of Khandallah, are the guests of Mrs, H Wilton. Miss E. Wilton, of Khandallah, has been spending the Easter holidays with her parents. Mr. T. Stokes, of Waituna West, .•pent the Easter holidays with his father, Mr. E. Stokes. Miss Emily Clarke, of Wellington, was the guest of Mr. E. Stokes during the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Beyliss and family, spent Easter in Levin. Miss M. Alltree, of Palmerston North is the guest of Mrs. W. Pope. Miss Hazel Gloyn is spending the Faster vacation at her home in Havelock North. Mrs. J. Gilmour has returned home after spending an extended holiday in Nelson. Miss Holland accompanied Mrs Gilinour. Mr. R. Moody, who has been visiting his parents, returned to Wellington on Tuesday. Miss Y. Easton and Miss R. King, of I'oxton, who spent the Easter holidays with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Webb, return dd homo on Tuesday. « On Saturday, the Tokomaru junior football team is to play Shannon, on the local recreation grounds. The team will be selected from the following: A. Grady, A. Wilton, A. Williams, J. Young, R. Sadd, J. Matthews, E. Matthews H. Pcnticost, B. Walden, A. Webb, M. Free, C. Hannon, N. Mabey, S. Claridge, J. Bennett, M. Sherman, W. Hunia. A euchre and dance was held in thi local hall on Tuesday night. Bonner's ; orchestra from Palmerston North supplied the music and Mr. R. Bayliss controlled the floor. Mrs. R. Atkinson played extras. The winners of the euchre prizes were: Mrs. N. Kelly, Mr. J. McClure a.nd Mrs. H. Morgan. - ..in J r
