On Saturday next, entries close with, the secretary (Mr. J. Campbell, Taonui); for the annual show of tho Feilding and District Young Farmers' Club. This year’s schedule is a comprehensive one and the show, will take place at the Feilding Agricultural High School on May 2. Fire destroyed, a large shed on the property of Mr. J. Gordon Eliott yesterday morning. Fortunately, tho wind was blowing away from the residence. Mr. Eliott’s property is situated on the outskirts of the borough and not being eonucetod with .the water supply, flho Folding Brigade- aid .not .turn out.Durirng the holidays, -thoro were two sittings of the Feilding Police Court to deal with cases of drunkenness. Mr. It: Burno J.P., dealt with one offender and imposed a fine of 5s and costs. Yesterday morning, Mr. E. Goodbeher?, J.P., fined Robert George Ritchie 10s for a second offence of drunkenness and remanded Mm. till Tuesday next on. :t charge of breaking the .conditions of bis .prohibition-order. • .
