The Manawatu Homing Club held two rices during tho holidays, one from Taumarunui, a flock race, and an interval race from Wellington. Results:— From Taumarunui: Mr. J. Dunks’ Tommy, 1087.07yd5. per min., 1; Mr. J. Danks’ Leo Harvey. 1086.9, 2; Mr. P. Wills’ Blue Bird, 1073.4, 3j Mr. F. : Murphy’s Storyette, 1070.8, 4; Mr. E. Torstonson’s White Tip, 1070.1, 5. From Wellington: Mr. D. Horne’s Star Stranger, 1130.8yds. per min., 1; Mr. J. Danks’ Valda, 1027.2, 2; Mr. P. Wills' Bonami, 1012.7, 3; Mr. C. Hart’s Mattock Jewel, 986.4, 4; Mr. F. Murphy's Miss Storey, 809.7, 5. Loading points for the Young Bird Cup are as follow: Danks 65, Murphy 52, Willrr'2; Inkpcn 39
