TAILORED GLOVES. The newest gloves are tailored, according to a Sydney woman who recently returned from a trip to San •Francisco. Channel, the famous designer, is making a speciality of model gloves. They come up over tho ■ sleeve to the elbow, but to be smart, one must not have them buttoned. They are so well .tailored that buttoning is not necessary. Some of tho newest gloves have jewels outlining the top. , For instance, the writer saw a blackpair with crystal trimming, and a pair of oyster white finished with sapphires. . _, , Tweeds are very fashionable, and black and white and brown and white popular shades.
