PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN OF £1250. •\TOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Manawatu Drainage Board at its ordinary monthly meeting to be held on Monday, the sth day of May, 1930, at 10.30 a.m. to consider the following motion: — “That an application bo made to the Local Government Loans Board for ita sanction to the Board borrowing the sum of £1250 for a term of 20 years at a rate of interest not exceeding (5 per cent 'with a Sinking Fund of 3 per cent, for the purpose of improving the drainago of the Taonui Basin, mainly the enlarging of Burko’s and Main Drains. ’ ’ Any person having any objections to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Manawatu Drainage Board not later than Saturday, the 3rd. day of May, 1930.
