Gift Afternoon

A very enjoyable and successful gift afternoon was held in St, Peter’s schoolroom on Tuesday, March 25, under the auspices of the Ladies’ Guild. There was a good attendance of ladies and the promoters wish to thank all donors who gave so liberally, both in subscriptions and material. A very amusing competition was held, the prize being won by Mrs. H. B. Clapham. The following ladies contributed to the musical part of the programme: Mrs. Spraggon, pianoforto solos; Mesdamcs McLachlan and Kendall, songs. Tho Misses E. Coles and Rona Menendez also contributed vocal and instrumental items. Miss E. Coles acted as accompanist.
