Radio Enthusiast Honoured

At the monthly meeting of tho Wellington branch of tho New Zealand Amateur Radio Transmitters’ Association, held on Thursday evening last, opportunity was taken to present, Mr. F. W. Scllens, of Northland, Wellington, with a silver cup sent out specially by Philips’ shorfwavo station, PCJ, as a mark of appreciation of the reports which Mr. Sellcns has been sending forward regularly in respect of reception locally from that station. Mr. Fitt, manager of Philips Lamps (N.Z.), Ltd., who made tile presentation, commented on tho service which Mr. Sellcns was carrying out in the interests of radio, and added that frequently station PCJ (Holland) made mention of the excellent w r ork Mr. Sellens was doing.
