Ladies’ Golf
There will ho a medal round played on the links this afternoon. The following are drawn to play together:— Mrs Collinson and Miss Budding, Mrs McMillan and Mrs Wright, Mrs Gabriel and Mrs Raven, Mrs Field and Mrs Cooper, Miss Scott and Mrs C. Rutledge, Mrs Reid and Mrs Ekstcdt, Mrs Bendall and Miss Thompson, Miss Crooke and Miss Kearins, Mrs Oliver and Mrs Spcochlcy, Mrs Billons and Mrs L Rutledge, Miss D’Ath and Mrs Justice. Anyone unable to play is requested to ring Mrs H. C. Collinson (tel. 5636) before 11 a.m. Tuesday.
diinig. A most notable figure was tho bride’s grandfather, who, despite his 77 years is as straight as a soldier and danced all tho evening right merrily. Many beautiful presents wore received. The young couple left to spend a honeymoon at Rotorua and Auckland, the bride wearing a nigger brown tailored costume, smart fur coat, shoes and stockings to tone and brown felt hat.
