Penalties for Intoxicated Motorists
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 17. Hugh Anderson, aged 28, a motor salesman, pleaded guilty in. tho Magistrate’s Court to-day to being intoxicated while in charge of a car, and to violently resisting a constable who attempted to arrest him, early on Saturday morning. Anderson was fined £2O on the’ first charge, and £lO on the second. Rotu Karena was to-day fined £5 and had his license cancelled for 12. months for being drunk while in charge of a car.
