Walker Gets Verdict From Versatile Indian
BETTER STAMINA. Per Press Association. GEEYMOUTH, Last Night. A wrestling contest between George Walker (13.24) and Eamzan Khan (12.10) went to the seventh round, rchen the decision went to Walker, as tho Indian, owing to an abdominal injury, was not able to continue. In the first four Tounds, tho Indian showed distinct superiority, . having Walker, defending most of tho time and showing great agility and a variety ot holds. In tho next two rounds, Walker showed the greater stamina and after the sixth round had gone more than half-way, he lifted his opponent and after swinging him, dumped tho Indian hard to the mat and was awarded a fall. , ~ A few seconds after the seventh round -began, tho Indian lay stretched on the mat when Walker got up and the latter was declared the winner.
