Kingsford Smith Trying to Sell Southern Cross
AUSTRALIA-LONDON attempt. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, March 14. Flight-Licut. C. T. Ulm stated that the primary object of Squadron-Leader Kingsford Smith’s visit abroad was to sell tho old Southern Cross,_ which is lying at Amsterdam. If ho is successful, the flight across the Atlantic will be cancelled. Dave Smith and ' Shiers’ flight to London begins on March 25. An attempt will be made to cover the distance from Wyndhain to London in 12 days.
