“TIMES” WEATHER REPORT

Return to Rains

The anti-cyclone is now passing off the North Island and a depression advancing from the Tasman Sea is already affecting the southern portion of the Dominion. Winds will bo north to west, becoming strong in and south of Cook Strait. The seas in New Zealand waters will be rather rough south of Capo E'gmont and Castlepoint, elsewhere moderate; moderate to strong north to west winds and moderate to rather rough seas in the eastern Tasman.

The weather will be fair at first in most places with mild temperatures but soon becoming cloudy and somewhat unsettled, with scattered rain, more especially in the western districts south of Cape Egmont and extending along the East Coast as far as Timaru.
