The Palmerston North primary schools cricket competitions were advanced another stage yesterday afternoon. Seniors: Convent 144 (Ongley 68, O’Kano 24 and Hood 20) defeated Hokowhitu 78 (Wilcock 39 and Tremewan 11). Terrace End 44 (Richardson 15 and McKenzie 13) defeated Central 31 (Busst 15 and Tapp 10). West End 69 (Bailey 29, Lyne 15 and Sicverts 11) defeated College Street (Wagstaff 12, Daly 10). Junior: Central 51 (Langstone 30) defeated West Enl 33 (Leader 12).
