’ ASTRONOMERS A-TIPTOE United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Friday, 7 p.m. NEW YORK, March 13. A message from Cambridge, (Mass.), states that Professor Harlow Shapley, Director of Harvard Observatory, at Flagstaff, Arizona, has reported the discovery of a ninth planet in’ the solar system, beyond Neptune. It is probably larger than the earth, but smaller than Uranus.

British astronomers a.ro immensely interested in the new planet beyond Neptune reported from Lowell observatory and stated to bo close to Delta Germinorum along tho ecliptic between Jupiter and Neptune. It is understood the discoverer is Professor Pc.icival Lowell.
Interest lies in tho fact that it indefinitely extends the solar system and adds a major member to tho sun’s family. Tho full facts aro eagerly awaited, also tho determination whether the planet obeys 80-do’s Law.
