Children's Health Camp

Smith (Limbrick st.). Literature for children and staff: Messrs C. G. Swallow, W. McKenzie, N. Importing Co. (Mr W. H. Brown), J. McVicar, G. H. Bennett and Co. Vegetables and other supplies: R. V. Clevely, Mrs S. H. Wheeler (Pahiatua), Hop Yick, Mrs Wingate (Longburn), Watchorns Ltd., C. Hopkins, Collinson and Cunninghame, Mrs Valentine. A large number of gifts have been left without the donors’ names, and they are also acknowledged with thanks. Gift days have also been held by the Hokowhitu and Terrace End schools, and they have produced supplies of all kinds. The executive is greatly indebted to Messrs Justice and Edmunds, who provide transport for supplies twice a day, and also to Mr A. E. Clausen (Tiratu Sawmilling Co.), for assistance with transport. The radio-gramapkone lent by Messrs A. J. Berryman and Co., has been installed and will provide entertainment for the camp, while the portable gramaphone lent by Mr W. Oates is being found very useful.
