Camera Secures Another Knock-out

The State Athletic Commission today reecived a cablegram from Max Schelling, saying that he would meet the winner of the Sharkey-Scott fight at Memphis. Camera, weighing 272 pounds, knocked out Sigman, 220 pounds, in the first of a scheduled eight rounds. Sigman failed to land a single telling blow. Camera, exhibited his customary ease, speed and power. Camera fights “Man Mountain” Erickson at Oklahoma City on February 7. Rosenbloom (172 pounds) won a ton rounds decision from Hudkins (165 pounds). The bout was fast and close throughout. At Detroit, Walker (1631 pounds) defeated Lomsk i (173|1b5.) in a ten rounds decision. This is a start in the attempt by the middle-weight champion to win the light-weight title.

HAY AND MCDONALD. The meeting between Artie Hay and Lachie McDonald in Palmerston North on February 21, promises to provide boxing enthusiasts with a great battle. McDonald has already proved his quality in Palmerston North and the dour and determined showing ho put up against the rugged Harry Casey will long be remembered. Hay, however, has been gathering his laurels elsewhere and Palmerston North has not yet had an opportunity of watching New Zealand’s dual champion in action. At present the Hastings man holds both welter and middleweight titles of tho Dominion,' while McDonald' is ex-mid-dle weight champion of Australia and New Zealand. After Hay’s Tccent sensational defeat at the hands of led Morgan, he will bo eager to prove on McDonald that he is the same Artie Hay who carried all before him previous to the'meeting with the Olympic champion. McDonald, on his part, can bo counted upon to resist strenuously and the stage seems set for a very willing contest and excellent preliminaries will Tound off a very sound pro gramme.
