RUSSIAN THREAT OF WAR AGAINST CHINA
Popular Demonstrations
AGREEMENT MUST BE CARRIED OUT RED REGIMENTS READY. United Press Association.—By Electrie Telegraph.—Copy right. Received Monday 8.45 p.m. •» LONDON, Feb. 3. A Riga correspondent states that Soviet organisations in Moscow and Leningrad during tho week-end arranged extensive now anti-Chinese demonstrations, threatening China with tho resumption of hostilities unless she immediately carries out the recent agreement, which she is allegedly sabotaging. * Leningrad demonstrators passed a resolution reminding China that numerous Red regiments were still on the Manchurian frontier, as ready to show the quality of their bayonets as they were a few weeks ago. The newspaper Izvestia declares that tho Soviet will regard as an unfriendly act any further delay in disarming and expelling White Guards.
Moscow announces that the whole of the Mexico legation’s staff were departed on January 31. Newspapers are at present reviling the United States instigators of tho rupture of Russo-Mexican friendliness and peaceful co-operation.
