Miss Marjotie Cranston, who has recently settled in Palmerston North, is shortly opening classes for elocution at Garner’s Buildings, over Donald McPherson’s, in the Square. Miss Cranston has been for some years in New Zealand, but previously resided in the West of England, where she was wellknown in dramatic circles, being a member of the British Empire Shakespeare Society and kindred clubs, and has frequently assisted in public readings of Shakospeare and other plays, and taken leading parts in many amateur productions. She holds high testimonials from these clubs.
