Eliding Boom Comes to an End at Canberra
CANBERRA, Jan. 17. The Commonwealth Bank has decided to discontinue funds for the construction of houses by the Capital Commission under the Commonwealth housing plan. Private building has practically ceased and many workmen have been dismissed.
