Famous Sprinters Welcomed to Australia

The New South Wales Amateur Athletic Association to-day welcomed Dr. Otto Peltzer, the German middle distance runner, and Leo Learmond, American track champion. Sir Henry Braddon, in a speech, said at this stage of the world’s affairs when we are striving for international peace, the visit of such men as Peltzer
and Learmond, representatives of two of the leading nations of the world, was most opportune.
