Sculling Champions Of New South Wales

PEARCE AN EASY WINNER United Press Association. —By Electri* Telegraph—Copyright. Received Sunday, 7 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 21. The annual rowing and sculling championships of New South Wales w6re held for the first time on the Nepean river. In the champion eights the Mosman crew, holders of the title, were first, the Sydney crew second and Leichhardt third. There was a dazzling finish, won by a quarter of a length.

In the challenge fours, over one mile, the Nepean crew were first and Mosman second. Won by two lengths. In the champion sculls, over three miles. H. E. Pearce, the Olympic champion, won by eight lengths from J. A. Goulding. His time was 20.30 1-5.

In the lightweight champion sculls, over two miles, R. Martin was first and J. Fisher second. Won by two lengths.
