Passenger Injured When Car Overturns

ACCIDENT NEAR BULLS.

Suffering from wounds on the left aim and neck, sustained in a motor accident on the Bulls road, Mr. John C. Madden, of 14 Frederick street, Palmerston North, was last evening admitted to the Palmerston North public hospital. The injuries are not serious, and Mr. Madden’s condition is reported to be satisfactory.

The injured man was a passenger in a car which was being driven from Bulls to Palmerston North, and was pinned underneath the bodywork when the car overturned about two miles on tho town side of the Bulls bridge. He was extricated with difficulty and conveyed into Bulls by a Wanganui doctor who arrived on the scene of the accident. After his injuries liad been dressed by Dr. Watson, of Bulls, Mr. Madden was brought in to the Palmerston North hospital.
