The Misses Chalmcr, Foilding, arc spending a week at Mt. Egmont.
Miss Grace Buchanan returned to Wellington at the beginning of the week.
Mt and Mrs Stannic, who have been visiting Palmerston North, have returned to New Plymouth.
Miss J. McFarlanc, of Bryant Street, Palmerston North, has been staying with her sister, Mrs F. F. Horne, Pahiatua.
Mrs H. Scotney, Tasman street, Wellington, paid a short visit to her son Mr Oliver Scotncy, York street, Feilding, this week.
Mr and Mrs C. Id. Agar and Miss Molly Agar, of Lyttelton, and Miss Ruby Agar, of Helcnsvillo, arc guests of Mr and Mrs F. J. Mann, East street, Fcilding.
An unfortunate incident happened yesterday when the delegates of the Motor Conference from various centres of New Zcala-nd were gathered togcthei to have their photograph taken. The seats which were raised from the ground gave way with the weight of the visitors and crashed. Mrs. F. J. Farrell, of Hamilton, received a painful injury to her leg and loot. It was found necessary to obtain medical treatment. Mrs. Jenkins, of Oamaru, was also a victim, her leg being badly bruised. The photographic ceremony was postponed until to-day when the visitors will be asked to assemble once mere, with it is hoped, a better result.
