FLOWER SHOW. From Our Own Correspondent. At the Woodville flower show’, held yesterday, ivas disclosed the spirit oi' spring in tho manifold beautiful blooms that had responded so wonderfully to the care of the gardeners. The exhibits were displayed to best advantage and though in some classes the entries were restricted, the show was a distinct and artistic and horticultural success.

Stall-holdors did good business, tho following ladies being in charge: Plain sewing, Mesdames Jones, JDaimanche and Huddick; fancy Bowing, Mesdames E. G. Smith, Mules, Simpson and Miss Ramsden; cakes, Mesdamos Norman, Stanborough and Jaine; art, Mrs. G. W. Davidson and helpers; sweets, Mesdames Walker, Bell and helpers; produce, Mesdames Johnston, J. S. Nelson, Gillespie and Jack Mabey. Section 1: Primula in flower, Mrs. Shorman 1. Section 2: Twelve varieties of narcissi, Mr. Nicholas 1 and 2.
