A scandal connected with the allegedly corrupt sale of decorations is occupying public attontion. Tho Director of Decorations Bureau, M. Amaoka has been Temandcd in custody. Tho latest arrest is that of tho movie “King," M. Yokota, wbo is accused of the friendly purchase of a decoration 'from Amaoka. The scandal is connected chiefly with coronation docorations and the corruption involves huge sums of money at a time when the public were exhorted to practice the strictest economy for the restoration of the trade balance.
