SALE REPORTS

Messrs. Levin and Co. Ltd., report that at the Feilding sale on August 16th, a medium entry of fat sheep and a smaller yarding of stores came forward than at the previous sale. The fat sheep prices were slightly easier, while the stores which consisted mainly of hoggets sold at prices on a par with those ruling at,recent sales. There was another large entry of dairy cattle which sold at satisfactory prices for anything showing quality. There was a small yarding of fat cattle. We report having made the following sales. Fat wethers 32/-; fat lambs 21/9 to 26/1; wether hoggets 21/6 to 27/-; ewe hoggets 36/-; empty ewes 11/-. Springing heifers, good, £l4/15/-, do., £6/10/- to 9/2/6; springing cows £8 to £ls; cows in milk £7 to £lO/15/-; fat heifers £lO/10/-; store bullocks £3O/15/-; Hereford cows and heifers, r.w. P.A. bull £5/17/6 to £7/13/-.
