Intermittent Rain The pressure is still high in the north but the anticyclone is moving eastwards. One low pressure wave has crossed the Dominion, but a second and deeper one is located in the south-west Tasman Sea. Expect moderate to strong north-westerly winds, freshening to gale force at times, especially in Cook Strait. The sea in New Zealand waters will be rough south of Cape Egmont and off-shore south of Castlepoint; elsewero moderate; strong north-westerly winds in the eastern Tasman sea, reaching gale force in the southern portion and seas rather rough in the northern and rough in the southern portion. The weather will be unsettled, with intermittent rain, more especially in districts with a westerly aspect, where some heavy falls nfay be expected. Mild temperatures will be general.
