TERRACE END SCHOOL
ANNUAL BALL NEXT FRIDAY. Arrangements are well in hand for tho annual plain and fancy dress ball of the Terrace End School. This function, so popular with tho children and adults, will take place on Friday evening next at tho Manawatu A. and P. Association entertainment hall, which with its commodious dancing floor and excellent facilities, admirably lends itself to such entertainments. The children will take the floor at 6.30 p.m. Bnd hold sway for three hours, when the adults will commence dancing. A sumptuous supper is being provided and this necessary adjunct is in the hands of a very capable ladies’ committee. Fuller details will be advertised later, including the prize-list and the municapl ’bus arrangements. The Terrace End School’s annual dance is one of the best organised functions of its kind in the district and the committee and others promoting tho ball aim at making tho 1928 entertainment the best yet.
