FEILDING GOLF CLUB
TOMBSTONE MATCH. The Feilding Golf club links are giadually drying after tbeir iuundation by the hooding of the Oroua river, but on certain holes it is still necessary.to tcc-up. The committee will confer this morning on the condition of the links with a view to deciding the question of teeing up and tho decisions will be announced on the club house notice board.
In connection with the tombstone match to be played over the week-end, the committee wishes members to note the following matters: (1) In the past a large percentage of players taking part, in club competitions have failed to return their cards; (2) in future all members wbo sign the book must return their cards and enter their scores in the book, whatever the score may be. If they do not do so, they render themselves liable to be raised in handicap; 13) if any player is dissatisfied with his handicap, ho may put in three cards (which have been properly kept by a fellow member of the club) and his handicap may bn readjusted by the committee on the basis of the cards returned.
