Mr and Mrs. Ward, of Dannovirke, are the guests of Mrs. E. McDonald, Wanganui. The friends of Mrs. P. S. Eabone, Ngaio street, will regret to learn that she has had to enter a private hospital, where she lies seriously ill. Mrs. Bcnfield-Forbcs, of Wellington, is cn a visit to her daughter, Mrs. Nicholas Cullinane, of Oringi, Dannevirko. Mrs. Donald Stewart, Hunterville, has been appointed delegate for the Bush Nurse and Housekeepers’ Auxiliary at the conference of the Women’s Division of tho Faraors’ Union, to be held in Wellington on July 23. Prior to tho departure of Mr and Mrs. W. A. Winstanley and family from Bulls to Marten they were farewelled by a large and representative gathering of friends, over 100 being present. On behalf of the assembly, Mrs Winstanley was presented with an eiderdown and Mr Winstanley with a mg.
