On Thursday, the Apiti school was granted a holiday for the show. Parents, scholars and teachers made the be,it of this opportunity. Unfortunately the inclemency of the weather detracted greatly from the pleasure of the outing. Thanks are due to (ho school committee for this holiday. A scrum in this position gave Apiti control of the ball and the visitors pressed into the Kimbolton twenty five. From a line, Apiti secured and scored. AloNac’s kick was a failure. From the recommencement, midfield play gave a free kick to Kimbolton. From the lincout the homo side attacked, only to losu possession and Apiti carried play into the opponents twenty live where a freo kick relieved the pressure. A scrum stopped the advance of the Apiti pack and Kimbolton carried play almost to the Apiti line, where a freo kick saved. From the following lincout, Apiti lost no time in visiting the Kimbolton twenty live. Here pay fluctuated but, from a lincout, Apiti made a determined attack and crossed. Alr-Nao con-' iverted, making the score S —o. Apiti’s kick off in the second halt was followed almost immediately by a lincout and from this position the green attack was followed by a kick to Kimbolton. However, from the ensuing lincout, Apiti carried pay into the Kimbolton twenty live. B. Kearney (Apiti) secured at this juncture and made a line dash down held, but was forced out. Apiti was then awarded a free kick. McNac made sure of a three points, making the score 11—0. The grecu backs were providing plenty of good play. From a mark, green followed up to be stopped by a scrum on the Kimbolton line. Kimbolton fought hard and forced. Snappy work by Apiti backs brought play up to the blue line. Pressure was relieved by a free kick. However, once again, the visitors attacked and from a serum on the line, pushed over. Spence converted, making the score 16—0. On the blue line Burkin was injured but played on. Play came down to the twenty five anil shortly afterwards the game ended. A great feature of the play was the manner in which the Apiti backs handled the ball.
