Fair to Cloudy
A series of low pressure waves is located between New Zealand and south-eastern Australia, while an anticyclone is situated in the northern Tasman Sea. The winds v ill be moderate to strong southwesterly to westerly north of Kawhia and East Cape, elsewhere moderate but incicasing west to north-westerlies. Sea will bc°rather rough on the West Coast and in Cook and Fouveaux straits, moderate on t-ho East Coast but rising off shore; westerly winds and rough seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. Tho weather will be unsettled and changeable in districts with a westerly aspect in Otago, with scattered rain elsewhere mainly fair to cloudy; mild temperatures, more especially on East Coast districts.
