Archbishop Avcrill in an interview ic connection with the cablegram telling of the fresh crisis in England as a result of tho bishops’ decision to use tho revised prayer book, stated that any action in England did no-t necessarily affect tho Anglican Church in New’ Zealand or other overseas Dominions. “We have,” ho said, “our own machinery for revising the Pray Book. An Act of Parliament was passed last year in New Zealand giving thg General Synod authority. to revise tho Prayer Book for use in Ibis country.
