CANADIAN ATHLETES FOR NEW ZEALAND .
TT is hoped that the proposed visit of the Canadian athletes will materialise during the coming athletic season. The matter was considered at this week’s meeting of the Wellington Centre of the N.Z.A.A.A., when it was decided to request that each sub-centre will guarantee £3O toward the expenses of the tour as demanded by the New Zealand Council. It was decided to allot two meetings to Wellington, and one each to Manawatu, Wairarapa.and Hawke s Bay-Poverty Bay. It is also hoped to arrange a meeting for Gisborne. The programme for other parts of the Dominion is at present under consideration by the different centres and will be announced shortly. So far are preliminary details in hand that it now seems that the visit is assured.
