ROAD CYCLE RACE
O. ULSEN WINNEB OF EUUCHEii CUP EVENT. Another race for the Boucher Cup— Palmerston North to Feilding and back through Awakuri —was held on Saturday afternoon, the result being as follows: — C. Olsen (11-lmins.) 1 B. Spencer (Slmins.) 2 J. Knowles (Stmins 3 Olsen's time was lkr. llmins. Also started: W. Collins (2Jmins.), U Blakcway (4mins.), A. Christian, 11. Benton (si), E. Pedersen (7), W. Podley (10), 0. Prouse (111). For the cup to be possessed by a competitor, three races must be won in the series. Olsen linished lifth last week. Benton, who was fourth on Saturday, won the race two weeks ago. Christian had a spill at Awahuri. Collins put up the fastest time, 58mins. lOsees. - . 1 , Mr. Smitbers, the president of .the Feilding Cycling club, has donated.-hi cup to be won outright. The race wiftitake place in a fortnight.
