KITCHEN TEA AT FEILDING
An exceedingly enjoyable kitchen tea was on Wednesday evening given by Mr and Mrs. R. Burton, at their residence, Hobson Street, for Miss Adelaide Seddon, in view of her approaching marriage. Dancing, took place in the dining-room, another apartment being set aside for those who preferred cards. A most sumptuous supper w T as served on, tables delightfully arranged with autumn foliage and chrysanthemums, shading from deep cream to bronze. A large number of very useful presents were received by Miss Seddon for which on her behalf Mr Lugg ! thanked the assemblage. Mrs. Burton ' received her guests handsomely frockleii in green ray de chine pannelled in ecru lace, the guest of honour wearing 1 a smart frock of navy ray rc chine 1 with scarf effect and trimmings ot cherry red. Thoso present were Mrs. Seddon, Mr T. Seddon, Mr and Mrs. K. Pearson, Mr and Mrs. L. D. Legg, Mr Salter, Mrs. Eaton and Miss Nita i Eaton, Mr. A. J. Lugg, Mr and Mrs. Hooper, Mr. and Mrs. G. Hurdlo and Miss. Phyllis Hurdle, Mrs. Audrey, Mrs Maroncy and Misses Kathleen and May Maroney.
