LEGHORN FANCIERS

ANNUAL MEETING. Mr W. Grey presided over the annual meeting of the Now Zealand Leghorn club which was held at the Winter Show yesterday. .annual report stated that, financially the club had made good progress. The membership remained about the same, but a number of breeders had been added to the roll during the vear. The annual show had been held at Onehunga in 1928, but from the point, of view of entries had been the worst on record. Tho following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr T. Bruce (Palmerston North); vicepresidents, Messrs, J. Davey (Stratford), G. H. Ambler (Christchurch), E, H. Chatfield (Palmerston North), H. C. Priest (Palmerston North) and J. Nixon (Auckland); secretary, and treasurer. Mr P. T. Eobineon (Palmerston North); council, Messrs. E. D. Whyte D. Salmons, W. C. Priest, and E. IL Chatfield (all of Palmerston North). It was decided to hold the next Leghorn Show at Wellington.
