Rangiwahia
HOCKEY. On Wednesday last, the local hockey girls journeyed to Ohingaiti to play their second game for the Hose bowl, which, after a very hard match resulted in a win for Itangiwahia by A goals to 1. The weather being very hot, made the game more strenuous. Goals were secured for Itangiwahia by Alieo Boshier, and for Ohinkaiti by Miss Hoise. After the match Okingaiti entertained the visitors at afternoon tea. Messrs. Stevens and Brown had control of the game. The .Ttangiwahia team was as follows: U. Meads, A. Ireland, Alice Boshier, U. McOartly, W. Boucher, H. Ireland, 10. Deihl, B. Boucher, Annie Boshier, T. Hyde and A. Carey. Kitchen Tea. On May 21, the Kuahine hall was packed to overflowing, the occasion being a kitchen tea tendered to Miss EiJccu Kroger, on the eve of her marriage to Mr. S. Deihl. The hall was beautifully decorated, dancing was indulged in until the early hours of the morning. Mr. Shaw invited Miss Kicger to open the many presents. Mr. Deihl suitably responded. Music for the dance was played by Messrs Fagan and Carr. Personal. Miss K. Carey has returned from Bedding.
