Taikorea

The fortnightly euchre and dance evening was held in the Taikorea Coronation Hall on Friday evening, when a very enjoyable evening was passed. The ladies' was won by Mrs. Mcpham, the men’s prize by Mr Patrick, a visitor from Timaru. The booby prizes fell to Miss Ruby Algar and Mr Warren Mudford. The music for the dance which followed was provided by Miss Werala, of Awaliuri, extras being given by Mrs. Hill, Miss Algar and Miss M. Werata.
