THE TIVOLI
Unquestionably one of • tho most thrilling photoplays shown here in many months, is “The Forbidden Woman,' 'a dramatic Pathe-Do Milic production, starring Jetta Goudal which was the big feature at the Tivoli theatre yesterday. The scenes of this captivating photoplay are located in Morroeo ami in Prance. Miss Goudal is seen as a spy and she is loved by two brothers with tragic results. It lias a background of war, and this vests the production with tremendous interest. Tho scenes are thrilling and the climax unusually effective and appealing. The work of the star and featured players, Victor Varcoui and Joseph Sehildkraut is exceptionally fine. The picture lias every quality of rare screen entertainment and is well worth seeing. It was superbly directed by Paul L. Stein, a German director of international reputation. The screening to-morrow is Lon Chaney in “Laugh, Clown Laugh.” “The Scarlet, Arrow” will also be continued and a matinee will be held at 3.30 p.m.
