IRISH IMMIGRANT DIES IN MATE’S HUT

TAINS IN STOMACH. WESTPORT, May 24. Patrick O’Kane, a labourer on the railway construction works at. Tiroroa, was found dead in the hut of a friend, Patrick MsElwaine, at 6 o'clock this morning. Ho called there last evening, his hut being four miles further on, and lay down on the floor, with some coats over him and was dead at 6 a.m. Deceased had previously complained of a pain in the pit of his stomach. He was a native of Ireland and had been in the Dominion three years.
